Here is the story:
This bunny is so tiny I can't stop looking at it. I got it for my five year old niece that I call Bunny. So sweet.
I got one for my niece too, but I could only find a box of 6 of them. My old hoarder habits didn't skip a beat and I bought them all pronto! It was during the time my niece was interested in my Grandmother's huge collection of animals in families and her birthday was around the corner.
I knew they were meant to be when I saw the familiar "Made in Japan" stickers still on them because many of my Grandmother's collection still had stickers on them too. That's how carefully we had to play with them as kids.
There's another one at JunkDrawerAndMore, available here

Her
collection was part porcelain and part Red Ball blown glass animals
in all in families with a mom, dad and at least one baby. As kids, we
would sort them in all different ways, all dads, all moms, all babies,
all zoo animals, all forest animals, all wild animals, all safari
animals and so on and so on. It kept us busy.
These storage wheels are so handy! They make a great gift box of giving lots of tiny mini things. Available here

I put
my niece's in one of the bead storage wheels, along with some different
beads and other supplies to make bracelets and every year I give her a sterling charm to
add to her charm bracelet, which I started when she was a baby.
It all fit in the storage wheel and was ready for DIY fun! Of
course, she got a bunny charm that year too!

Saying Goodbye: I had six of these, but can only account for five of them, so there is one missing. I guess it's another thing lost in my hoard! I found the box, but it's empty. Just when I thought I was getting more organized! Phooey!

What I Learned:
1. Not to be too hard on myself with set backs, like trying to find that one last lost bunny! It will show up eventually.
2. I have quite the collection of porcelain bunnies, many from my childhood. Many of them are listed at all the shops, but the majority of them are listed at VintageToGoEasy and JunkDrawerAndMore .
Just do a search using rabbit or bunny and you will find them in ceramic, porcelain and plastic. I have many other animal figurines too from my childhood collection, many of them Hagen Renaker and Red Ball. Most HR and Red Ball is at VintageToGoEasy, here.
I'd love to keep my collection and they used to be so hard to party with, but since I'm allergic to dust there is no point in keeping them boxed up and out of sight, so I hope someone else can enjoy them. And they are!
Yes, they even will arrive in a gum ball capsule! This one is at JunkDrawerAndMore, available here

See the tiny little pink bunny to the left by the baby deer? That is my ultimate favorite bunny of them all and usually is a photo prop perched on his little red chair!
Speaking of pink! Here is a Red Ball type glass deer in pink.
